Nice exhaustive list!
Just to share my girlfriend and I experience, we went through this kind of check list and ended renting a van with Origin Campervans in France. (www.origin-campervans.com)
The van definitely met our expectations.

Isle of Mull is a great place for wildlife, but has nothing to do with Paul McCartney who had a house on the mull of kintyre which is somewhere else entirely.

It’s all single track, narrow, winding roads on the island. Rather you than me driving a van.
